I am an incoming sophomore at Mizzou and will be a sports editor with The Maneater next year. I was previously a projects editor and assistant sports editor with The Maneater, and I was also a writer for Swimming World Magazine. My favorite sports are baseball and swimming. I have also done freelance writing for the Cincinnati Enquirer and Kansas City Star.
What are you most looking forward to about your position?
I am looking forward to having an organized section that covers all Mizzou sports.
What’s your favorite memory from your time at The Maneater so far?
My favorite memories are the interviews I’ve gotten the chance to do. I’ve loved talking to MLB prospect Tanner Houck and Olympians like J’den Cox and Dominique Bouchard.
What’s your favorite piece of work you’ve done for The Maneater?
I have two. I wrote an in depth feature on Tanner Houck’s MLB draft prospects, and I also put together a 4,000 word long read on potential Mizzou Olympians.
How do you like to spend your free time?
I like to spend my free time watching sports (mainly baseball and swimming), seeing friends and biking.
Where do you see yourself in five years?
Writing feature stories in a big city.
